There can be a lot to think about, and it is easy to miss something!

Let us at Artway handle the complications so you can sit back and feel confident that your belongings are moved with competence and quality. With our experience, we already know all the “Do’s and Don’ts” in the moving industry.

All frequently asked questions and answers:

It is difficult to say how much your moving company will cost because the price depends on a number of different factors, e.g. how long the move will take and how far you will be moving. Any additional services may also change the price.
You can choose for yourself whether you want the moving company to pack your things or whether you want to pack on your own. Remember that the moving company's insurance does not cover if you pack your items yourself and something breaks.
In most cases, it does not take more than a day to move from one residence to another. Exactly how many hours will be needed depends on how extensive the move is and what services you ordered.
Moving companies are trained and knowledgeable in moving and have the right tools and equipment for the job. However, it is still important that you choose a serious and professional company that has knowledge and good reviews behind it.
Traffic permit is proof that the moving company you use is serious. It is only through a professional permit that a moving company is allowed to carry out professional traffic and this is something you should check before hiring.
Furniture that is too large, too heavy or too bulky for transport must be dismantled. This also applies to items that cannot be transported safely without being dismantled. Not sure if this is the case? Does the furniture not fit through all the doors and corridors? Are there narrow corners and stairs that the furniture has to pass? Do the items weigh more than 80 kg? Are the objects very tall or wide? If you answered yes to one or more of the questions, the items likely need to be disassembled. Still unsure? Yes, it is possible to change the move-out date after the booking has been completed if the move-out date is at least 15 days ahead at the time of the change and the new move-out date is not within the next 14 days (from the date of the change). The price for changing the moving date is SEK 490. The price may rise or fall depending on the season (according to the information in the current price list). Unfortunately, it is not possible to change the moving date if your move falls within 14 days
The number of moving boxes required can vary widely, which means that we cannot give specific advice on how many moving boxes you need. Roughly calculated, you can count on the following amounts: 30 moving boxes per household and in addition 20 to 25 moving boxes for each person in the household. For each child or toddler, 10 moving boxes extra. Minimalists likely need fewer boxes, collectors may need more.
For cancellation of your move after the agreement has been completed, but at least 15 days before the agreed move date, a cancellation fee of 20% of the agreement fee applies. For cancellation of your move later than 15 days, but at least 8 days before the agreed moving date, a cancellation fee of 50% of the agreed fee applies. For cancellation of your order later than 8 days before the agreed moving date, a cancellation fee of 100% of the agreed fee applies
A moving company will not help you transport your pets. However, they can help you transport the pet's accessories, e.g. aquarium or cages. You transport your pets safely before or after the moving load itself.
The more that is packed before a move, the easier and faster it goes for the moving company. Feel free to pack valuables and jewelry in a separate bag that you transport yourself and remember to use boxes of the same size for easier loading.
When you hire a moving company in Stockholm, you have the right to use the RUT deduction. With the RUT deduction, you can reduce labor costs for the move by 30%.
Absolutely! If you can't or don't want to take all your things with you to your new home, you can get help with storage instead. Check that the moving company you have chosen offers the service before booking.
How the payment looks can vary between different companies. Some want to be paid directly by card or Swish and others send out a reduced invoice when the application for RUT deduction is ready.
Artway will pack your moving boxes if you ordered this service in connection with the booking. For details on this, we refer you to your booking confirmation. You can order packing and unpacking of your moving boxes up to 15 days before the moving date. Please contact our customer service and we will prepare a suitable offer for you.
The walking distance is the distance between the parking lot for the moving vehicle and your front door/gate. Backyards, gardens and the like must be taken into account in the calculation. Please let us know if there are any special circumstances surrounding any of the addresses. Also let us know if anything changes on the planned route before the move, e.g. that construction work begins. This ensures that we can prepare your move in the best possible way.
We can offer you both disassembly and assembly of your furniture for an additional cost. Please note that we only assemble furniture if we have dismantled it ourselves before. If you want to take care of the disassembly and assembly yourself: make sure that the furniture that requires disassembly is disassembled before the movers arrive.
