Artway AB in Helsingborg

Terms and Conditions

Terms for Agreement with Artway AB

1. Scope of the Moving Assignment

Moving companies are not expected to move unusually large items such as a grand piano, a motorized bed, a pool table, etc. Additional charges may apply for moving these items.

Transport never includes cash, valuable jewelry, securities, or other highly valuable items. It also does not include animals or plants.

Of course, it is possible to negotiate alternatives, but both parties must agree in the contract.

2. Price and Payment

The stated price can be a fixed price. If the customer still chooses to use a variable price, it must be clearly stated in the contract how this price is calculated.

Additional charges may occur. If costs arise that may be caused by the customer, such as the need for disassembly/assembly, packing, or unpacking, and the customer did not request these services during booking, there may be additional costs beyond what the moving service initially quoted.

In such cases, the customer is expected to be contacted directly by the moving service with relevant details.

3. Consequences of Delay or Error

  1. If there is a delay or incorrect execution, the consumer has certain rights. The consumer can demand that the company completes the assignment or that compensation is provided with a lower price. In the worst case, one of the parties can cancel the entire agreement, which would constitute a breach of contract. This is, however, uncommon, and if the parties cannot agree, it may lead to one of the parties taking the matter to court.
  2. Cancellation Terms:
    • According to our terms, you as a customer can cancel the moving service free of charge up to 10 days before the moving date.
    • Cancellations made 9 days before the moving date will result in a 25% charge of the total amount.
    • Cancellations made 4 days before the moving date will result in a 50% charge of the total amount.
    • Cancellations made 48 hours before the moving date will result in a 100% charge of the total amount.

4. The Carrier’s Liability for Compensation

Moving companies are not expected to move unusually large objects such as a grand piano, a motorized bed, a pool table, etc. Additional charges may apply for moving these items.

Transport never includes cash, valuable jewelry, securities, or other highly valuable items. It also does not include animals or plants.
