01

Start with the order of the new workplace

List departments, rooms and the equipment that must be ready first. A simple label system can connect each item to its destination, helping the team unload in a useful order instead of creating new sorting work.

If the move needs to happen in stages, include the operating priorities and access windows in the enquiry. The schedule can then be assessed against the volume and both properties.

02

Define responsibility for furniture and equipment

Desks, shelving and meeting-room furniture may need preparation before transport. IT equipment, specialist machinery, confidential material and leased items may require separate procedures. Identify them early and agree who disconnects, packs, transports and reconnects each category.

A contact person at both addresses helps resolve placement and access questions without holding up the rest of the move.
